Bear has a favorite saying he likes to repeat over and over: "Bears don’t swim." Despite his fear, Bear decides to accompany his friends to the beach, where he accidentally falls into the water. After crying for help and flailing about – after all, bears don’t swim – he discovers he is doing exactly what he says he could not do. Afterward, Bear learns an important lesson and that is: one won’t know unless one tries.
