A gullible king believes what two tailors tell him about a special fabric that only smart people can see. Trying not to appear dumb, the king claims that he, too, can see this special fabric and orders clothes made from it. The king wears his new clothes to a parade, but gets laughed at by his people. All they see is that the king is not wearing any clothes.
