A very poor man finds a goose that is able to lay one gold egg every morning. But he gets greedy and is not satisfied with only one gold egg a day. Unwilling to wait, he decides to kill the goose to have all her eggs sooner. When he cuts the goose open, he finds nothing, not even one egg.
