When a mouse wakes a lion from his slumber, the lion is so angry that he threatens to eat him. The mouse begs and pleads with the angry lion to let him go, promising to return the favor. The lion lets the mouse go. As fate would have it, the lion gets captured by hunters. As promised, the mouse frees the lion by chewing off the ropes holding him down.
