Clara loves the nutcracker she has received as a Christmas gift. Later that night, the nutcracker comes to life and defends Clara from mice invading her home. A great battle ensues, with the nutcracker ultimately defeating the evil Mouse King. The nutcracker reveals to Clara that he is actually a prince and whisks her away to a magic kingdom.
