A tortoise challenges a hare to a race. When the race starts, the hare quickly dashes out of sight, leaving the tortoise behind. The tortoise does not give up and continues to walk slowly toward the finish line. The hare is so certain that he will win the race that he stops to take a nap under a tree. When the hare wakes up, he discovers the tortoise has won the race.
